When used as a part of an anti-aging oil recipe, essential oils not only smell nice (who doesn’t love vanilla or lavender?), they also work simultaneously to diminish the appearance of those stubborn wrinkles and fine lines.
There are 4 essential oils in this recipe: rose, rosemary, rosewood, sandalwood, and rose hip oil.
Rose essential oil is known for its anti-viral properties and its use in lotions and creams because it helps mature skin look younger.
Rosemary essential oil helps the muscles relax so that the circulation is improved and distributed equally across the skin area.
Rosewood oil is used in anti-aging skin care recipes as an oil that repairs the skin, reduces wrinkles and blemishes, and improves the overall skin tone.
Sandalwood essential oil is often used to treat sensitive skin, rejuvenate mature skin, and treat stretch marks.
Finally, rose hip oil is known to repair mature skin and help dry, dull skin regain moisture.
Note: Be sure to use essential oils that have been diluted using a carrier oil.
